Our Auckland stores have now re-opened, so all our stores across New Zealand are open and available to assist you with your eye care needs. To find out your local store’s trading hours, please visit their store page.
Patients can now book an appointment for an eye test or contact lens assessment online or by calling your local store. If you try and book online find there are no appointments available, please call your local store or use the online form to send a request to them and they will do what they can to find an appointment for you.
Customers can also contact their local store to arrange a time for a fitting, adjustment or repair.
When visiting your local store, you'll find things are a little different to normal as we’ve got COVID-19 Safety Plans in place in line with government restrictions and guidance to keep our customers and team members safe. If you have a heightened risk of COVID-19, please let a team member know when you arrive in store and we’ll take extra precautions to protect you by wearing a face mask.
To protect our customers and team members, our stores will be practicing social distancing and we will be limiting the number of people that can be in our stores at any one time.
We’re doing everything we can to keep customers, patients and team members safe in-store with enhanced COVID-19 protocols in place.
This includes restricting the number of people who can be in-store at any one time and providing hand sanitiser to customers before entering the store. Our optometrists and pre-testers are wearing PPE when in close contact with patients. We have a strict cleaning roster and stores are following enhanced cleaning protocols including disinfecting test rooms and equipment after each patient, cleaning the retail area throughout the day, including frames, and we have hygiene screens in place both at our reception desk and our dispensing desks.
You will also find our official COVID App QR Code displayed in-store and we will be reinstating our contact register for all customers that visit a store that do not have an appointment.
As an extra precautionary measure, all team members will be wearing face masks when caring for patients with a heightened risk of COVID-19 including:
- People over 70 years of age
- Women who are Pregnant
- Those with a chronic health condition, such as:
- Serious respiratory disease such as chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma
- Serious heart conditions
- Immunocompromised conditions
- Severe obesity
- Liver disease
- Chronic kidney disease or undergoing dialysis
If you are a patient with a heightened risk of COVID-19, please let a member of the team know when you arrive in-store.
If your glasses were couriered out to you while our stores were closed, and you need them adjusted, please contact your local store to arrange a time to go in and have them professionally fitted and adjusted.
If you have a pair of broken glasses that you would like repaired, our adjustment and repair services are now available, but again to help manage the number of people in-store, we ask for your assistance in contacting your local store to arrange a time to come in.

If you previously ordered glasses or contact lenses through your local store, and you still haven’t received them, please call your store for an update on your order. We did everything we could to courier as many orders out to customers as possible while our stores were closed.
Now that stores are open again, customers can place orders for new glasses or contact lenses in-store.
Please be aware that we are still experiencing delays with orders due to the ongoing reduction in air freight routes from our supply chain locations as a result of COVID-19, so the current wait time for glasses orders is 3-4 weeks.
When your glasses or contact lenses are ready to collect, a member of the store will call you to arrange a collection and fitting or a contactless express pick-up. If you are unable to visit the store, they will also be happy to discuss posting them out to you.
If you live outside Auckland and require a copy of your prescription, please contact your local store and they can provide you with the details you need over the phone or email you a copy of your prescription.
