Digital Retinal Photography is a powerful tool that helps our optometrists detect serious eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinal changes that may be associated with diabetes.
This technology allows us to screen for abnormalities which can then be monitored and treated to better protect the quality of your sight and overall eye health.
The images taken are also stored by our optometrists, helping to track any changes in your eye health over time.
How can I get it?
Book a comprehensive eye test
During your eye test, our optometrist will take a high-resolution image of your retina using an advanced DRP camera.
They can then use these images to discuss your overall eye health with you.
Your DRP image will then be stored for future comparison when you visit us for your next eye test.
Available in all Specsavers stores nationwide with your 2 yearly comprehensive eye test and subject to eligibility.
