Help and frequently asked questions

I have recently been for an eye examination when I said I’d like to wear contact lenses but my optometrist has asked me back again for another appointment, should I be worried?

Answer:

It may be necessary to have two different appointments, (although this can often be done at the same time)  the initial exam was to check the health of your eyes as well as establish whether or not you need specs/contact lenses. The contact lens check is different, although the optometrist re-establishes your prescription he also identifies whether or not you are suitable for contact lenses and if so what sort of contact lenses would be best for your lifestyle.
