Coloured contact lenses enhance the natural beauty and colour of your eyes by adding depth and greater definition, along with light effect patterns, which add brightness in a natural way.

So whether you want to dazzle with bright blues, create cool eye effects, opt for soft warm browns, strike with icy greys or dark eye colours, there’s a lens for you to transform your style. We offer both daily and monthly coloured contact lenses to suit your needs.

Fancy dress and Halloween contact lenses

When it comes to things like fancy dress or Halloween costumes, we know that you might be looking for some coloured or 'crazy' lenses to add the finishing touch to your costume. These are offered by some online retailers so if you are thinking of buying some, here are some things to consider to make sure you don’t end up with eyes that look crazy all the time:

Don't buy your contact lenses from ‘just anywhere’. Look out for a well-known supplier and a brand you’re familiar with and read a few brand reviews before you buy anything.

Never share your lenses or wear lenses someone else has worn before. Even if they have been cleaned.

How to care for contacts

Do I need a prescription?

All coloured contact lenses, including non-correcting (plano cosmetic) lenses, are optical appliances and require a prescription. Air Optix Colours can be purchased with a valid prescription for easyvision monthly Irisian or Air Optix Aqua lenses. If you want to try a different lens type, speak to your local store for advice.

Most importantly

If you notice redness, discomfort, pain, watering eyes or anything else that makes you concerned, take the lenses out and keep them out. If things don’t get better once you've got the lenses out and you require eye care, then contact your optometrist or visit Accident and Emergency if its outside business hours.
