Free glasses for kids
If you are a holder of a valid Community Services Card, you can get funding towards the cost of your child’s glasses and eye test through the Enable Subsidy, provided they are 15 years or under.

Free glasses
Free glasses applies to children 15 years old or younger, who meet the Ministry of Health’s eligibility criteria and clinical guidelines as set out in the Children’s Spectacle Subsidy. Free glasses applies to: two pairs of glasses from the $169 range and includes standard single vision lenses; or a single pair of progressive /bifocals glasses from the $169 range. Other frames and lenses are available and may incur an out of pocket cost. Lens options are not included. Excludes reglazes. Available in-store only. A valid Community Services Card must be presented at time of purchase.
