What are the causes of retinal detachment?
Answer:
This can follow an eye injury or a blow to the head. It can also occur as a result of some underlying eye problem, e.g. high degrees of short sight (high myopia), inflammation or infection at the back of the eye, a tear in the retina, or blood vessel problems.
