What is an ophthalmoscope?
Answer:
This is an instrument used to examine the inside of the eye. There are two types, Direct and Indirect. The direct ophthalmoscope enables the optometrist to examine a smaller area of retina at a time. The indirect ophthalmoscope enables a greater area of the retina to be viewed at a time but at a lower magnification.
