What are the symptoms of ocular herpes / keratitis?

Answer: 

The symptoms of ocular herpes / keratitis include red eye, a sensation of a foreign body in the eye, blurred vision, pain, sensitivity to light and watery eye. The virus usually affects one eye but like other viral infections does have the potential to spread to the other eye, for example if you rub the affected eye and then the unaffected eye.
