Usually, a pair of hearing aids are recommended to balance sound quality and clarity across both ears. However, everyone's needs are unique, so Single (Monaural) hearing aids are also available. To find out what's best for you, have a discussion with your Audiology Professional.

Aftercare

Every purchase comes with free aftercare for 12 months which includes maintenance checks and adjustments made whenever you need, free batteries for 12 months, a four-year warranty and a 90-day satisfaction period.

90-day satisfaction period

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within the first 90 days of the date of your purchase we will put it right. This is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Law.

Accident Compensation Commission (ACC) funding

ACC-eligible price per pair indicates the fully-funded products available at each ACC funding level. We have fully-funded product options available at each level of ACC funding and you may elect to top up funding to purchase a higher level of technology above your approved ACC funding amount. Speak to your Audiology Professional to find out which product options are available to you based on your approved ACC funding amount. 

Government funding

Government funding may be available to help cover the cost of hearing aids for eligible people. For more information about funding criteria, visit the Deaf or hearing loss equipment for adults | Disability Support Services.

Payment plans:

Qcard - 3 month payment plan is available at Specsavers Audiology. Visit qcard.co.nz to see if Qcard is right for you. Credit lending criteria and fees apply. Qcard products are provided by Consumer Finance Limited.

Gem - A customer can choose to pay using Gem on a 6 month or 12 month payment plan. Visit gemfinance.co.nz to see if Gem is right for you and set up an account. Credit lending criteria and fees apply. Gem products are provided by Latitude Financial Limited.

Warranty

If within four years of collecting your hearing aids and/or accessories you have any defects relating to design, materials, workmanship or component failure, we will repair or replace them for you, free of charge. Damage caused by improper handling, wax, moisture damage or repairs by unauthorised or unqualified third parties is not covered under this warranty.
