Receiver-In-Canal hearing aid

Receiver-In-Canal

Receiver-In-Canal (RIC) hearing aids sit behind the ear with a thin wire connecting to a receiver and soft dome which sits discreetly in the ear canal. RICs are the most popular style of hearing aid due to their comfort and discreet appearance.

Slim Receiver-In-Canal hearing aid

Slim Receiver-In-Canal

Slim Receiver-In-Canal (SlimRIC) hearing aids sit behind the ear with a thin wire connecting to a receiver and soft dome which sits discreetly in the ear canal. SlimRIC’s are a stylish yet discreet alternative to the standard Receiver-In-Canal style and are rechargeable.

Behind-The-Ear hearing aid

Behind-The-Ear

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing aids sit behind the ear and deliver sound into the ear via a tube. The tube can either be channelled through a custom made earmould or a soft dome, which fits inside the ear canal.

In-The-Ear hearing aid

In-The-Ear

In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing aids are custom made to fit the shape of the ear and are the largest of all custom hearing aids. They are designed to fit the majority of the external ear cavity and can include a volume control and button to alter listening settings.

In-The-Canal hearing aid

In-The-Canal

In-The-Canal (ITC) hearing aids are slightly smaller than ITE hearing aids and are designed to fit the lower third of the external ear cavity. They can also include a volume control and button to alter listening settings.

Completely-In-Canal hearing aid

Completely-In-Canal

Completely-In-Canal (CIC) hearing aids are smaller again and are designed to sit inside the ear canal making them very discreet. The CIC is popular amongst people with mild to moderate hearing loss.

 Invisible-in-canal hearing aid

Invisible-in-canal

Invisible-in-canal (IIC) hearing aids are the smallest custom hearing aids available and are designed to fit deep inside the ear canal making them the most discreet custom hearing option.

 Instant Fit hearing aid

Instant Fit

Instant fit (IF) in canal devices sit discreetly in the ear canal but don’t require a custom impression of the ear shape. The soft silicone sleeves allow for a comfortable fitting in the ear.
